Share your work with the Photo Saloon community!

Photo Saloon is a gathering place for women, nonbinary, trans, and gender expansive lens based artists in the Bay Area. If you’ve got a project, series, process, prompt, zine, photobook, or practice you are hungry to share, we’d love to see it.

We feature artists and projects on our blog/journal to help people discover each other’s work, build momentum, and make the Bay Area photo ecosystem feel a little more connected.

What we’re excited to feature:

• Ongoing or finished photo projects / series

• Process notes (film photography, darkroom processes, scanning, printing, alternative process, etc.)

• Zines, photobooks, artist publications

• Community projects + collectives

• Artist statements, visual essays, interviews, studio visits

What to expect:

• If your submission is a fit, we’ll follow up about timing + any edits/formatting.

• Not everything can be published due to capacity, but we read every submission.
