This on-going body of work is a visual meditation on maternal lineage, sense of place, and how the fragments of where we come from are woven into who we become. It serves as both preservation and recontextualization of female familial relationships. By exploring the incandescent nature of connection shared by daughters, mothers, sisters, and grandmothers, the work invites viewers to experience their personal memory within the collective and visualize women through a lens of reverence.
